Emmanuel Pre-School
Emmanuel Pre-School was formed in and has operated at it's home at Emmanuel Church in Hawkeswood Road, Hailsham, since 1990. The Group is non profit making, committee run and is a registered Charity (No. 1062030). We provide care and education for young children beween the ages of 2 and a half and 5 years.
The Pre-School's Ofstead registration number is 109416 and it was last inspected in 2005 and no key issues were raised. We meet the Department for Education and Employment (DfEE) requirements for Nursery Education Grant vouchers for children from the term after they have their third birthday. We are also a member of the Pre-School Learning Alliance, and the Early Years Development Plan.
The Pre-School has 26 places per session and operates in the morning 5 days a week during term time as set out by East Sussex County Council. The Friday morning session is called Explorers. These sessions are for children who will be starting school in the following September. Every child who attends the normal pre-school session (Monday-Thursday) will be offered a place at our Friday session.
